After a long ascent of Neugraben (asphalt road) you reach an open bright forest - the Fischbeker Heide starts here. Good signage and a good way to ride a bike. If the sun shines in, it is perfect. From here you can continue to Kiekeberg or Rosengartenstraße. Who drives these ways should have good legs. The slopes have it all.

The Archaeological Hiking Trail in the Fischbeker Heide refers to an open-air museum in the Fischbeker Heide in Hamburg-Neugraben-Fischbek in the extreme southwest of Hamburg, which was opened to the public in 1975 by the Helms Museum, the forerunner of the Hamburg Archaeological Museum. The hiking and cycling path leads along the largest closed group of archaeological monuments visible above ground in Hamburg. On the path, which was restored in 2002, archaeological monuments dating from the Neolithic to the Iron Age are explained at eleven stations using display boards. The hiking/biking trail begins at the Wendeschleife parking lot on Falkenbergsweg.
