Den Tus is one of the fens that remain from when the Gerserheide region formed a large heath landscape with fens. A few years ago, the site was awarded 1 star by the Regional Landscape Lage Kempen in the context of the so-called "landscape stars". So worth the effort to pass. Particularly important about Den Tus, however, is the nature of the fen itself.
