In Weert, a district of rural Bornem, you will find the Streek- en Vlechtmuseum De Zilverreiger. Here the old Klein-Brabant basket makers come back to life. You will experience the authentic craftsmanship of the basket weavers who once upheld the reputation of the region. There is a lot to do in the museum. You can participate in workshops or dream away with a local beer or biscuit on the terrace. You can also rent bicycles to explore the beautiful surroundings afterwards.
