    The Franco Tonolini Refuge is located in the magnificent Conca del Baitone, in the Adamello Park, near Lake Rotondo. Surrounded by eight stupendous alpine lakes, it is in an ideal position for excellent excursions and ascents, such as the beautiful Cima Plem or the Corno del Baitone.

        Valmalga Gnutti Refuge, Cristallo Pass, Tonolini Refuge.
        You can park comfortably at Malga Premassone from there the legendary stairs of the Miller begin which rise like an elevator to take you to the Gnutti refuge facebook.com/RifugioGnutti in this beautiful and green suspended valley, the refuge is next to the lake artificial that one always of the beautiful colors on the green. Here, after a couple of hours of walking, you need a good coffee and a slice of cake. We leave the path forks and on one side we go to the Passo del Gatto towards the Baitone refuge (see previous post), while we skirt the lake almost to the bottom where a large stone man tells you to go up from there.

        We go down because it is already half past five, we arrive at the car at 7.30. the path to descend is very regular but it seems to me very damaged by the torrential rains of recent years, it would need a substantial system to make it accessible to all.
