Weiherring leisure facility
In the heart of the municipality of Mauren, the spacious "Weiherring" leisure complex is a unique paradise for people of all ages to enjoy and relax.
Around a central pavilion in the Weiherring there is a children's playground with a large climbing pyramid, a beach volleyball facility, a skating park, a boccia lane, a boulder climbing landscape, a small football field, an exercise park, a medicinal herb training garden and a special fountain system (called the "Hill Diver") arranged. Beautiful, illuminated walking paths lead through the entire leisure and recreation park. A large paved square can be used as a parking lot and as a central venue for special public events.
The attractive beach volleyball facility includes three playing fields as well as a paved seating and standing grandstand. It is freely available to everyone. Field reservations are to be entered directly on site on the appointment board.
The pavilion can be used by local associations for certain club events. The usage permit must be obtained in advance from the municipal secretariat.
