The mountain hut of the same name is located directly above Lake Pisciadù. The moon-like landscape in which the hut stands really seems to be out of this world. The surrounding walls rise up craggy and the soil with little vegetation is covered by huge boulders. Over 100 mountain hikers can spend the night in the hut. The Franco Cavazza al Pisciadù refuge, owned by the CAI of Bologna, is located in Alta Badia at 2587 m above sea level. near the border with Val Gardena and offers an excellent accommodation service, bar and restaurant with typical Ladin cuisine.
