The Old Tower. It dates from the middle of the 15th century and was restored in 1936. It is characterized by layers of brick alternating with tuff. Only the top section, where the bells hang, is made entirely of brick. There are diagonal buttresses and, like the tower body, decorated with savings fields. The tower has an attached stair tower, but it is blunt since the spire was blown off in 1836 and has never been rebuilt. The tower defines the village
