The Citizens' Park is not only FOR the citizens; rather, the citizens WERE also involved in its planning and implementation. Among other things, the Senior Citizens' Advisory Council proposed a multi-generational space with fitness equipment, and the beekeepers' association and NABU Rhede are also very active. Several art objects, such as woodwork, etc., also come from the adjacent day clinic.
