The White Cross, the Red Cross and the Blue Cross are permanent markings in the file forest. There was also a Black Cross until 1955. Not far from the old location, after 55 years, the "Black Cross" has been set up again on the initiative of Richard Krammer and Bob Fener and under the sponsorship of the Manchinger Hatschwanderer.

In earlier times these crosses were used for orientation and today they are useful orientation aids for hikers and cyclists.
The Black Cross is in the north (near Ernsgaden), the White Cross is in the west (near Baar), the Red Cross is in the east (near Geisenfeldzüge) and the Blue Cross is in the south (near Hög).
