Het Groot Goor is a Dutch forest and nature reserve to the east of Mierlo-Hout. The core area of 30 ha is owned by the municipality of Helmond.

The area is bounded to the west by the area of Mierlo-Hout, to the north by a park and the buildings of Helmond, to the east by companies and the Zuid-Willemsvaart, and to the south by the Eindhovens Kanaal. De Goorloop flows through the area.

In the old days, part of the area was used as a landfill.

The area is formed by a few reed lands, meadows, an extensive apple orchard and an old and varied moist forest area between the Eindhovens Kanaal and the built-up area of the city of Helmond. To the north is a beech forest. Breeding birds include the lesser spotted woodpecker, nightingale, golden oriole and little owl.
The area is a valued walking opportunity for the residents of Mierlo-Hout and Helmond. A potential threat is the buildings, which surround the area on three sides.
