'Huis Leuvenum' is indeed about 100 m away, but this is the new 'castle'. The wall painting here refers to the 'Old House Leuvenum', which stood on the island behind this wall and was demolished. The stones were partly used for the expansion of the current restaurant.

The remainder of the castle is located directly on the terrace of a wonderful catering facility. Right on the forest and a perfect place for coffee or a beer.

There is a remnant wall in the backyard of Hotel Restaurant De Zwarte Boer near Leuvenum. An image of Leuvenum Castle has been applied to this wall. Leuvenum Castle is a few 100 meters walk from this place.

The image is in fact always accessible via the parking lot next to De Zwarte Boer.
