The office building for the 13th and 14th districts is an office building in the district of Hietzing in Vienna. It is located at Hietzinger Kai 1-3, west of the Kennedy Bridge, between Hietzinger Kai and Eduard-Klein-Gasse. It is a little bit away from the Kennedy Bridge through the Hans-Moser-Park. Wikipedia

Since 1914, the district leaders and the district administration have resided in the Hietzinger Amtshaus. In 1945 it was almost destroyed by bombing raids.
Before the office building was opened, the authorities were spread between Wattmanngasse, Trauttmansdorfgasse and Woltergasse: not a particularly convenient option for dealing with authorities in Hietzing.
On January 12, 1914, however, the office building was officially opened, only the district court remained at the old address. Incidentally, there was a steam tramway station on the site before that.
