The origins of Domain Vordenstein go back to 1552.
Nothing remains of the castle, the last remnants were demolished in 1946.
Only the orangery and outbuildings have been preserved.
The domain itself is approximately 110 hectares in size and is characterized by different landscape types.
Park area with scattered groups of trees and ponds are English inspired. The forest area is laid out in French style and is laid out in a star shape. Floats of oak and beech trees cross the park domain. A green lung east of the metropolis of Antwerp. A large domain to relax.
Please note: dogs are NOT ALLOWED even on a leash. As well as two-wheelers are not welcome. Bicycle parking is provided at the Kopstraat car park.

Park Vordenstein is a park in Schoten, in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The park is managed by the Agency for Nature and Forests according to the principles of Harmonious Park and Green Management. The park is owned by the Flemish Region.
This castle park covers 110 hectares and features both English and French architectural styles. Most of the landscape dates from 1850. Around this time, a large number of rare tree species were also planted. Fallow deer, roe deer, and owls live on the estate.
