During the Gentse Feesten, you can kiss the paving stones on this square until early in the morning. And for the rest of the year, the partygoer will certainly get their money's worth here.
This is the epicenter of Ghent nightlife. Centrally located is the Charlatan, a large alternative dance café with different performances every week, next to it is a small alternative club and also a record label. Across this square are a few more heavy night cafes.
At dawn every Friday, Saturday and Sunday the flea market starts on Sint-Jacobsplein. Perfect for coffee and treasure hunt.
