Tiergarten Wels is a beautiful and interesting zoo in the city of Wels, Upper Austria. It is the oldest zoo in Upper Austria and has over 100 different animal species. You can see many exotic and native animals there, such as monkeys, parrots, llamas, goats, deer and much more. The zoo is also a great place for children, who can have fun in the playgrounds or meet Christkindl in the Ledererturm.
The Wels Zoo has long opening hours and entry is free. You can visit it in the city park and also explore the city museum in the water tower or in the Ledererturm. The zoo is a main attraction in Wels and a worthwhile excursion destination for the whole family.
