"You can go for a wonderful walk, hike or simply enjoy a break in the Buchenberg forest, a local recreation area between the two districts of Burgsteinfurt and Borghorst.

Untouched and protected nature, good air and a fantastic view make this area an insider tip and a small oasis.
Those in the know will quickly see that the flora and fauna here is something special and particularly worthy of protection, and many joggers have long since chosen this area as their favorite route. The Buchenberg with its three hiking trails A1, A2 and A3 (3-7km) is also very popular with hikers.
