Everyone who visits Lauenburg is amazed by the two beautiful blue mailboxes
that are located in the old town.
One is located at Elbstrasse 18, the other at Elbstrasse 59.
The blue jewels are a popular and unusual photo motif.
With Art Nouveau ornaments in gold on rich, thick, blue lacquer, flourishes and decorations on every corner, even the writing field is a miniature work of art.
The mailboxes are in regular operation.
