                        From Zakopane, there are buses to Palenica Białczańska, a ticket costs 15-20 PLN. At the end of June, the parking lot for cars was full, and I don't even want to think about what it's like in the season 😉 You should definitely buy tickets online! Then we enter through a separate entrance, saving some time and energy, from this place to the destination we have about 8 kilometers. On the way we pass Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza - the noise of the waterfall is brilliant! The rest of the route is quite monotonous, but for a change we can use the steps made of stones. When we approach the shelter, we already feel that the views are rewarding all our efforts! For those who have time, I recommend going to the Valley of Five Polish Lakes

                          Even in the morning mist, the Meeraugensee retains its magic; it remains shrouded, creating a very atmospheric atmosphere. You walk halfway around the lake and then up stone steps to the Schwarzsee.

                            It's best to set off as early as possible, as the lake is in the valley on the north side of the mountains and is in the shade relatively early. We were there in October, however, so conditions should be a bit better in summer. Either way, it's a beautiful lake (it was named one of the five most beautiful lakes in the world by the Wall Street Journal in 2014 😀)
