The building, originally constructed as a trading house, which has been used as the town hall since 1751, characterizes the lower part of the market square with its high stepped gable. Today the tourist information office and the citizens' hall are located here as an event location.

Originally it was an open hall. From 1752 until after the war it served as the town hall. Above is the Citizens' Hall, which is furnished with Renaissance paintings. The Weinheim coat of arms with the Electoral Palatinate lion, the white and blue Wittelsbach diamonds and the wine ladder are attached here.
