Lake Kellersee is located right on Sielbeck's doorstep and borders Fissau to the south,
the nearest town to the East Holstein district town of Eutin, and Bad Malente to the west. The Schwentine River flows through Lake Kellersee, connecting it to other lakes in Holstein Switzerland.
The approximately 540-hectare lake, which is up to 25.5 meters deep, is managed by the Schwarten fishing company. Lake Kellersee offers a variety of recreational opportunities.
You can walk or cycle around the lake on a 14.9-km route. If you prefer a more leisurely approach, you can fish from the shore or from a boat, enjoy coffee and cake at the Uklei Fährhaus, or stop off at Heiko Schwarten's fishing hut. In either case, magnificent nature and relaxation are guaranteed.

The Kellersee is right on Sielbeck's doorstep and opens up to Fissau in the south, the next town towards the East Holstein district town of Eutin, and to Bad Malente in the west. The Schwentine river runs through the Kellersee and connects it with other lakes in Holstein Switzerland. The lake, which is around 540 hectares in size and up to 25.5 m deep, is managed by the Schwarten fishing company.

Last visited on my tour: At Kellersee
I have attached several pictures of a water tower, the lakes, the landscape, a viewpoint and the mermaid.
The whole thing is part of one of the day tours on the 2022 bike tour.

There are numerous idyllically located rest areas and deployment sites on the navigable lakes and the Schwentine, which are located in the immediate vicinity of parking lots, like this one.
