It is a beautiful walk along the five kilometers still meandering Leij.
Gorp de Leij is an area on the heavily winding Rovertsche Leij. There are 10 intimate forest meadows along the stream. A blue flash on the stream can surprise you. That is a kingfisher. He skims across the water with lightning speed to immediately disappear from view again.

As Brabantse Natuurpoort, we are a central information point for the Brabant Landscape, recognizable by the four-meter-high iron key at the entrance to our site. The De Roovertsche Leij food and drink shop is the starting point for you to discover the surrounding nature. You can park your car in our spacious parking lot with no fewer than 125 places. Then you continue on foot or by bicycle. The Natuurpoort is the starting point of an extensive cycling and walking route network. Beautiful routes through woods, along heaths, meadows and wet nature such as pools and streams. A scenic variety that will certainly please nature lovers.
