The glass house, also built in 1914, consists of two separate cylindrical structures with separate domed roofs. Between the cylinders there is a balcony on the roof of the central building, which can be accessed from both shingled domes. The glass house was set up to process the windows installed in the Goetheanum.
The shape of the "wooden house" is vaguely reminiscent of the first Goetheanum building and today houses the Free School of Spiritual Science.

The Glass House (1914) was built for artists as a workshop for the grinding of the stained-glass windows of the Goetheanum's Great Hall. The two interlocking domes of the first Goetheanum building are separated at the Glass House, and here the two domes are designed to be the same size. A square (curved toward the Goetheanum) forms the center of the circles, transforming the unity into a duality.
