Zehdenick is an ideal starting point for excursions to explore the beauties of nature, e.g. in the unique landscape of clay engravings or in the nearby Schorfheide. For those who are looking for a bit of experience, like to ride and fish and especially for all water lovers, there is a paradise of a special kind. Signposted water, bike and hiking trails are available on which you can also explore the region independently. The international cycle path Berlin-Copenhagen, the Havel cycle path, the European long-distance hiking trail E 10, the Ruppiner-Land circular hiking trail, the Stechlin running park and the Deutsche Tonstraße run through the region.

The Zehdenick town hall is located on the west side of the market square and was built between 1801 and 1803. The town's original buildings were destroyed by a town fire in 1801. A two-storey plastered building with a gable roof was built in the style of classicism, which was extended by two axes in 1838. The main front now has a total of eleven axes, five of which are central axes. The central axes are emphasized by colossal pilasters. Window coverings and cornices divide the facade sparingly.
