The Hermano fountain is a public space in Sant Andreu de la Barca located near the Riera de Corbera, which was rehabilitated in 2014. This historic fountain, which is located below the Sant Andreu de la Barca School , was formerly used to clean clothes.[1]

There is evidence that the area popularly known as the source of Hermano was already in the 19th century a place frequented by holidaymakers and an ideal place to spend the afternoon and have a meal because of the existence of a source. Originally the land was owned by Cal Jansana and the Ca l'Hermano hí family had a leased orchard. These two facts are what end up giving the place its name.

Attributing words to families is very common and Ca l'Hermano owes its name to a former relative who had entered a convent to become a friar (hermano). And although he left the habits before he was ordained.
