The Schauinsland museum mine on top of the Schauinsland is very easy to drive to from all directions on public roads and there are many free parking spaces in the summit region. It is a visitor mine with authentic experience and the last active mine in the southern Black Forest.

From the summit car park or the Schauinslandbahn mountain station, it is only a 400 m walk to the entrance. The Schauinsland museum mine is one of the few visitor mines in a large city that also has very good connections to local public transport (tram, bus, cable car).

The weather has no influence on the mine tour. In the underground mine the temperature is always + 10 ° C all year round with high humidity.
