There is a small parking lot here on the Kiessee.In summer you can swim on a small sandy beach, today, on St. Nicholas Day, thin ice floes swim on it. The sun is shining and it's wonderful hiking weather.

I crossed the only railroad crossing far and wide and immediately left on the concrete slab path. After a while, the red and white marked Baruth hiking path goes right through a nature reserve of the Zylower lowland, which leads along moats and unspoilt trees to the Rangsdorf lake Strengthening by the fire at a snack in the Rangsdorfer See Hotel and drinking mulled wine before starting the way back.I thought I would take a shortcut through the settlement, but I recommend going back a bit until a wider dirt road turns left, which you always go straight on follows (is just as far), left hand a view hill with a view of the old Rangsdorf airfield behind you to the level crossing behind which is the Kiessee.
