The ascent over the Ärtelegrat to the Entschligegrat (Bernese 😉) and along the path from the Chindbettipass back to the Engstligenalp is a successful tightrope walk as a whole. At the top of the Engstligengrat you have a perfect panorama with a view towards Kandersteg.

The Engstligengrat is a scenic mountain ridge above Engstligenalp near Adelboden, connecting the striking peaks and passes toward the Chindbetti Pass and Tschingellochtighorn.

Facts:
⛰ Location: Between Engstligenalp and the Wildstrubel mountain range
🔭 View: Panoramic views of the Lohner, Wildstrubel massif, Adelboden, and into the Valais
🚶‍♂️ Access: Mostly accessible from Engstligenalp via mountain hiking trails (T2), with more challenging sections toward the Tschingellochtighorn
🧗 Character: Partly narrow ridge with rocky passages, suitable for sure-footed hikers with a head for heights
