Here at the pond in Deisenhofen, the still young brook water of the Hachinger Bach gathers (it is only a few meters to the source) for the strenuous run towards the seepage basin, enveloping ditch and reservoir. When the weather is right, you can endure here on the bench. The ducks like to be here too, whatever the weather.

The Gleißental is a little over eight kilometers long and around 25 meters deep cut in the Munich district. The dry valley stretches from the Deininger Weiher in the south to the Oberhaching district of Deisenhofen in the north. There it merges into the valley of the Hachinger Bach. The Deininger Weiher, which is also known as the Gleißentalweiher, has the Gleißenbach as its outflow, which initially enters the Gleißental but disappears after just a few hundred meters.
