The Sauldorfer Lakes are an absolute must if you are in the region.

"The Schwackenreuter lakes emerged from a larger gravel mining area that stretched over the districts of Sauldorf, Mühlingen and Hohenfels. 10 lakes belong to this approximately 100 hectare area.
