      The Haselberg tower was built in 2008 by the Free State of Saxony on the Haselberg, formerly Wettinhöhe, in the nature reserve Königsbrücker Heide. It is 34 meters high and has two viewing platforms at 13 and 32 meters in height. Its nine floors are connected by a galvanized steel staircase with a total of 156 steps. The terrain height of the Haselberg is 190 meters above sea level. The foundation of the observation tower consists of 150 cubic meters of reinforced concrete.             Nice view from the tower, as far as Bohemian Switzerland and Geising. The path there through the forest is easy to drive on with a racing bike when it is dry. The western section of the access road is more pleasant than the eastern one.
