The steps of the Santa Lucia vecchia begin in the small square of the same name, where a small fountain rises in the lower part of the square. You pass the splendid Villa Tentorio, then go the first part on a slight incline, then the last fifty steps. You will flank dry stone walls covered with ivy and you will come to Via Tre Armi. If you turn right, you climb up to Porta San Giacomo, the most beautiful gate of the Venetian walls, to get to the Cottà Alta.
