Voralpengipfel with terrific view. In clear (clear) weather you can enjoy a panorama from the Black Forest and the Vosges to the Alps. The climb is technically not difficult. However, since the ascent can only be done on foot, the summit is not so crowded.
Incidentally, the summit can easily be combined with a detour to the (slightly higher) "secondary summit" Furggengütsch.

🌲 Start: From the Schwarzenbach car park near Habkern. Parking for 15 CHF/day - tickets available in Habkern.
⏳ Duration: 3.5 -5 hours depending on the tour, ideal for experienced hikers.
🏔️ Ascent: to 2,197 m - a real challenge! The steep climb requires surefootedness, but the breathtaking views are worth every effort.
🔭 Summit: The Hohgant summit offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Bernese Oberland, the Emmental and, in clear weather, even as far as the Jura - a real highlight!
🔄 Descent: Same way back or circular tour over the north ridge.
