Originally a Roman camp, León was the medieval capital of the kingdom. Today it is exhibited monumentally with the heritage of its noble age. Its Gothic cathedral is one of the most impressive buildings in Spain, but it is also home to the Romanesque basilica of San Isidoro with its frescoes or the old hospital of San Marcos, among other monuments. The neighborhood of El Húmedo and its vibrant atmosphere animate the night with its gastronomic and cultural offer.
