An absolute must for me when I go to the Harz Mountains again.

There is not only delicious food here. It's just a beautiful place to take a break from hiking. Even if you are not hiking here and only driving by, you should stop and linger for a moment.

There are spectacular wood carvings to marvel at!

For the stamp hunters of the Harz hiking pin: Stamp No. 60 can be stamped here. In addition, the stamping point 54 Rotestein is only about 2 km away from here. You can park for free at the Stemberghaus.

Nice excursion destination with free parking spaces and a stamp office of the HWN. From here you can start several great tours, e.g. to the Rotestein, the suspension bridge over the Rappbodetalsperre or to the Schöneburg
