The Torre di Petacciato, from the homonymous town in which it is located, is one of the coastal towers that have come down to us in Molise, which connect the defensive strip of the Adriatic against the Saracens. It has a truncated pyramidal body with a square base with squat shelves that were used to support the crenellated parapet of the lookout post, with an off-center portal at the base which was accessed via a staircase and a wooden bridge.
The tower communicated to the north with the Trigno tower (no longer existing) and to the south with the Sinarca tower.
