The Church of Sant Miquèu in Vielha (Aran Valley) is a church built in different phases between the 12th and 13th centuries. It is dedicated to Saint Michael. Its original construction is in transition from Romanesque to Gothic. It used to be built next to the old medieval castle, of which there are no remains. It is for this reason that the bell tower has a fortified appearance. It has a single nave, with side chapels, which responds to various construction stages. The three sections closest to the west façade date from the 12th century. They are covered with a barrel vault reinforced by toral arches. The section before the presbytery corresponds to the 15th century and the transept and the head were built in 1730. It is a work included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
