For people with mobility impairments, I recommend either the nearby trail parking lot at "Kamerickshof" on the L 373, better yet the southern trail parking lot "Tackenbenden". The boardwalk can be reached from the west via well-paved paths (about one kilometer) without any significant incline. From the north (Schwalm) do not follow the Premiumwanderweg, as this route is not suitable for wheelchair users. The premium hiking trails generally have a path character and it goes over hill and dale. Continue along the Tackenbendener Bach southwards and the next possibility left on a paved path to the east. At the refuge turn left following the A5.

Beautiful biotope in the middle of the heather at the Schwalmbruch.
The wooden boardwalk can be walked on / driven on in any weather and by everyone.
Attentive observers can observe and photograph a variety of plant and animal species here ... 📷👍
