Montalivet.... and the best thing is the daily market from 11:00 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m., with around 200 market stalls full of delicacies such as oysters, prawns, calamaries, paellia and...and...and. Not to forget the variety of wines, directly on site to taste and the great CREMANT. Of course there are also stands full of clothes and all kinds of other things.
We enjoyed it to the full for 26 years until we sold the "villa atlantique" on Rue de Grande Bretagne (Front de Mer) for reasons of age.

Montalivet-les-Bains is a seaside resort in the Médoc region in the Gironde department on France's Atlantic coast. Together with Vendays, which is a little inland, it forms the municipality of Vendays-Montalivet.
