At this small pond in the south of Kassel, only the small but fine grandstand makes you wonder when you cycle past ... do so many people want to look at this small pond 👀? It's beautiful, but a grandstand for that?
In the www, the question could have been clarified, which the locals could certainly have resolved like this: in non-Corona times there is still a stage in the pond on which the Brothers Grimm Festival takes place!

Kassel. The new floating stage in Park Schönfeld now has a suitable address. The Brothers Grimm Festival had launched a naming competition for the pond in advance. The name "Schönfelder Märchenteich" convinced the jury.
Officially, the name for the body of water is pond number 1. “That sounds far too dreadful” was the opinion of the team at the Kassel Brothers Grimm Festival around theater maker Michael Fajgel. The festival performs a new fairy tale musical every summer on the new floating stage. The theater people received support from the city of Kassel and from Kassel-Wasser. Without further ado, they launched a name-finding competition.
