ハイキング
The landscape in the Neuer Hagen nature reserve is unique. A nice open area with lots of views. In late summer the colorful Besenheide, in winter when there is snow it is a beautiful cross-country skiing area.

The largest of Europe's rare mountain heaths in northwest Germany is located near Willingen in Niedersfeld. The vast, treeless landscape transforms into a pink carpet of heather blossoms in late summer. The protected area is rightly considered one of South Westphalia's natural treasures.
Many paths run through here, and numerous benches invite you to take a break.
