Located 2705 m high above the Winnebachtal and visible from afar, you can reach the Kempspitze in about 3.5 hours from the Winnebachtal car park. The path leads over the Tiefrastenhütte, which can be reached after about 2 hours. The ascent is not easy, especially in the last third. Surefootedness is essential in sometimes steep terrain.
The view of the grandiose mountain world all around to the Dolomites and the glacier peaks of the Zillertal and Rieserferner Group is great.
