The easy summit tour to the 2,039 meter high Gschöllkopf starts at the mountain station of the Rofan cable car and leads through a fantastic landscape panorama above the Achensee. The route, which is 2.5 kilometers long, is perfect for starting a hiking holiday or a hut tour. After a good hour you can reach the summit on the well-developed path with its distinctive viewing platform, the "Eagle's Nest". From there you not only have a further 360-degree panoramic view of the Karwendel, Hohe Tauern and Zillertal Alps, but also the opportunity to go back down with the Skyglider "Airrofan". Several mountain inns invite you to stop off near the mountain station. The path is also easily accessible for families with children.
