The log cabin restaurant on the "Schwarzern Mann" is located in the middle of the forest and in winter, when there is enough snow, it also serves as a "ski hut" for the many skiers and is a mixture of pub, restaurant and cafe. An open fire makes the dining room really cozy.

We have already ended several hikes here and were always very satisfied. The staff is friendly and the food on offer is inexpensive and delicious. As a burger fan, I recommend the "Waldarbeiter Burger" which is topped with a delicious fried egg, among other things. Add a cool Kölsch and you have well-deserved refreshment to round off a beautiful hike.

At the very top of the Schwarzer Mann is the rustic log cabin restaurant. It is also often used as a ski hut in winter.

It is a mixture of pub, restaurant and cafe. In the middle of the restaurant there is an open fire (next to the bar) which is a great place to warm yourself up in winter. You can stop by here Thursday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and every day during the holiday season (closed on Tuesdays).

There is also a small petting zoo and behind the house there is a lovely little playground for the children.
