With the construction of Semper Castle, a water tower was built on the highest point for the water supply. In order to integrate this structure into the natural environment (forest), the facade was faced very elaborately with field stones, so that this tower gives the appearance of a medieval ruin. It was in function until around 1953. With the restoration of the forest park, the heavily damaged facade was restored and the undergrowth was cleared.
