The evangelical village church of Zichtau is located directly on the village square. It is a plastered half-timbered building that is unfortunately already crumbling. In pale yellow, it stands out from the otherwise rather typical fieldstone churches of the Altmark.

Also located directly on the village square is the village community center, in front of which there are also tables and benches. When the weather is nice, you can take a good rest there without a roof.

On the village square there is a small alley, a rest bench and of course the memorial stone for those who died in World War II and a memorial stone for the survivors.
