On the beach section, you can easily drive about 20-30 km north or south by car.
Be careful where the sand is lighter. It's usually soft there and you get stuck. With the all-terrain bike it can be driven quite neatly. Touring bike better only with thicker tires. The general rule here is "away from light sandy areas". They are usually too soft, so you can get caught in the front wheel and brake hard. Then you just lie uff de Schnüss.

In the season you have to reckon with many people and cars on these drivable beach sections. But that's not a problem for Danes.

Please stay out of the dunes - this is the coastal protection for Denmark. Please look out for the "Prive" sign in many places - private ownership is very important in Denmark.

Non-observance can be very very expensive!

Beautiful beach, passable even with smooth tires or with very few grooves close to the water (28mm minimum, 35 and more preferable).

Near the waterline, the sand is very hard and also suitable for bicycles. In the high season you have to watch out for many beach goers, cars and free-roaming dogs. In autumn the kiters are there with their buggies and they have a great time.
