Wonderfully located refuge belonging to the German Alpine Association. Picturesquely situated on barren rocks above the Hochwurten reservoir. You have a great view during the gondola ride from the middle station up to the Eissee mountain station (on the left). The hut has a large outdoor terrace with a great view and has around 30 beds.

The Duisburg Hut is located at an altitude of 2,572 meters in the Goldberg Group in Carinthia, Austria in a valley basin at the end of the Fragant Valley. It is owned by the Duisburg section of the DAV and is the starting point for ski tourers in early summer. In summer, easy hikes are possible from the easily accessible hut, as are challenging, high-alpine glacier and circular tours.
