Behringersmühle is the terminus of the railway line to the Wiesenttal from Forchheim (Upper Franconia) via Ebermannstadt to Behringersmühle.

The heritage railway departs from Behringersmühle. Both steam and diesel locomotives operate. The journey to Ebermannstadt takes about 45 minutes. It's well worth the trip. It wasn't too crowded either.
