Bizarre rock peninsula washed out by wind and water. Ideal for hiking and looking towards Corsica. Several small bays invite you to swim. But be careful, always wind and sometimes a strong current.

The dazzling white, larger and newer lighthouse towers majestically on the dramatic rock formations, a silent testament to human achievements in the midst of wild nature. But despite its majestic appearance, it remains an inaccessible secret, protected by a fence that keeps visitors at a distance.

But even though the main lighthouse cannot be entered, the surrounding area offers one of the most impressive views in Sardinia, especially at golden hour, when the sun slowly sinks into the sea and bathes the sky in a spectrum of warm colors. It is a place where time seems to stand still and you can fully enjoy the magic of the moment.

Just a few meters away, a smaller and older lighthouse bears witness to bygone times. The traces of time are clearly visible on him, but he has lost none of his fascination. Unlike its larger neighbor, it has no fence and invites you to come closer. The ground floor, which may have once served as an information center, is now empty and holds its own stories. Next to him is another building that looks like a small church from a distance and offers a fantastic viewpoint.

From here, when the weather is clear, you have an unforgettable view of the neighboring island of Corsica. A place where you can feel the wind, feel the vastness of the sea and let yourself be captured by the peace of the moment. The Capo Testa lighthouse and its surroundings are a must for any hiker who wants to discover the true heart of Sardinia.

You can get closer to the smaller of the two lighthouses on the Cape, it is not surrounded by a bridle. On the ground floor there is a room that used to be used as an information center or similar, but is now empty.
