09/06/2018 - The Beethoven Temple is located in the upper part of the Kurpark. You can reach it via a beautiful path along the slope. Embedded in the park landscape and surrounded by all kinds of plants, this is the ideal place to enjoy the view over Baden and the thermal region in Lower Austria. The Beethoven Temple was built in 1927 to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Ludwig van Beethoven.

The Beethoven Temple is a popular and popular viewing pavilion in the Baden Kurpark. It was erected under Mayor Kollmann on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's death in 1927. The striking structure planned by architect Wilhelm Luksch consists of the temple building and an extensive staircase. The impressive ceiling painting in the dome of the Beethoven Temple was created by the painter Hans Lukesch.
